we have just returned from a most memorable stay at Harvey's Point Hotel at Lough Eske.
We were impressed with the size and standard of the rooms which were aptly described as Executive Suites.
The hotel's position, overlooking the lough is superb.
The gourmet dinner lived up to its name.
Having breakfast sitting at a table by the window watching a swan 'sail' by was idyllic. The staff were welcoming and obliging. Overall a fabulous hotel which we will certainly return to in the near future.
Heather and family.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay in Harvey's point. From the moment we arrived till checkout all the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Our Deluxe room was possibly one of the finest and biggest rooms we have ever stayed in. Really fantastic. The bathroom was also very large and included a jacuzzi bathtub which was a real treat.

We ate most meals in the hotel and all were of a very high standard. The breakfast was a very tasty buffet with lots of choice with both cold and hot options.
The Sunday carvery is well worth booking as it is great value and again there is a wide selection to choose from.
We also had some food from the bar menu. The Fish and chips and club sandwich were excellent. The steaks were very tasty but possibly could have had a wee bit more potatoes and veg. Small gripe as it was still very tasty.
On our last night we booked in for the dinner. Lovely 4 course meal. To start we both had the black pudding which wasnt the best, we think the glaze took away from it. Other than that it was a gorgeous meal. Most amazing soup we have ever tasted, both mains were exceptional, and desserts were delicious. All staff in restaurant for breakfast and dinner were so friendly.

The location of Harvey's point is in a lovely tranquil area with scenic walks that are well worth doing. The setting beside the lake is beautiful. And the local resident Harvey and his feathered friends will also give you a warm welcome.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We really hope to be back. It is a credit to the owners and staff that they have brought this hotel from a wee cottage to a hotel thats up there with the best anywhere. Would definitely be a 5 star if it had a spa. We'd rate it a 5 star as it is. Keep up the great service.

Dear Guest, It was indeed our pleasure to welcome you to Harvey’s Point for your three day leisure break. On behalf of the Gysling Family, our Team and of course, Harvey the Goose, may I extend our thanks to you for such a warm and positive review of the Harvey’s Point Experience. We will check out the glaze for the black pudding. Just to let you know we are about to open our two fabulous new treatment rooms on the fourth floor overlooking Lough Eske and the product we are using in Clarins. We are planning more improvements to our product over the winter and who knows,?, five stars are not beyond our reach ! Kind regards , Deirdre

My wife and I accompanied my parents in celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary. The management and staff were most considerate and accommodating. From the quality dining to the expansive comfort of the suites the overall experience was both special and memorable. We're already planning our return for the "68th."

Room Tip: We had the lake view but the surrounding hills offer spectacular and tranquil vistas as well.

This hotel is located adjacent to a lake and amidst quiet forested countryside. Delightful country walks abound.Nearby championship style golf course at Murvagh,County Donegal .Management is Swiss - Irish, and Staffs are well trained, efficient and friendly. The rooms and suites are magnificent size. The food ranks among the very best cuisine available in any top hotel in Ireland..All around the surrounding county of Donegal offers unrivalled scenery, and a landscape that confirms to the traveller that she or he is now in an area thats the last fringe of europe facing out to the Atlantic ocean and North America beyond. In July through some months, an international style cabaret show is provided , at a charge, each Wednesdaay evening . This is a really charming hotel, and we usually stay a minimum three nights.

Room Tip: We have always stayed in one of several available suites. ask for lake view as these are altogether...
