Overall it was a good experience. Great service from the staff and the breakfast was great.
The room was however a little disappointing, it was on the top floor and some of the paint was flaking arno the velum windows - just felt a little unloved.

I would return and in reality it probably s slightly better than 3*, but couldn't class it as very good.

There was free wifi although the signal was weak. Phone reception seemed to be an issue for all of us which is an issue when you're there on business.

this was our fourth stay at the hotel this year. As always we had a great time. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the decor and furnishings were modern and relaxing. The dining room and cafe bar provide a wide selection of food and we had excellent meals in both. The staff throughout the hotel provide high quality service and are helpful and friendly. This is an excellent choice for a peaceful and relaxing break and even though there was wedding receptions during our stay we were not disturbed late at night..

Stayed here for a wedding with wife and kids.
Good points:
Rural location, Good staff, free wifi in bar, good sized bedroom, nice pool, wedding food good and free parking

Bad points:
Bedroom needs updated, old CRT tv, need bigger beds (lots of space in room), only 2 towels for 4 of us, no wifi in room and little shelf area in ensuite.

Had the receptionist asked me how was my stay on check out I would have told her the above.

Stayed at the hotel for one night on 25th August. Only room available was a suite at a more expensive charge. 124 euro per person. when we booked we were mislead and thought this was for a couple. the room was nothing out of the ordinary only a big larger with 2 high back chairs and a round table! The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very plain and average, no robes or slippers for paying 248 euros for a room! and cheap bath products. The leisure centre pool was very small and very hot and sticky. The steam room was not working. Charges of 2 euro apply for a swimming cap and the towel they provide for guest was like a large hand towel and very thin. Food in the bar was average and nothing special. The breakfast was nothing special at all, in fact I have stayed in much cheaper hotels and bed and breakfasts and been offered a lot more. The bacon was tasteless and the eggs runny. I would never stay in this hotel again as the charges were not explained they were per person and not for a room. But even if this was not the case, it still would not have been worth the money charged. The nightlife in Donegal town even though there was a food festival on was abysmal for holiday makers.

We were traveling as a family of 12 and stayed for 1 night. The hotel itself was very nice. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice bathrooms. There was a wedding reception going on when we arrived and the staff offered to move two of our rooms because they would be near the wedding party's festivities. We appreciated that. The rooms seem to be in a maze of hallways and we had a hard time finding our rooms at first. Some of our family ate in the bar and said it was excellent. The hotel was a good walk from the town, in which a lot of shops close by 6pm. It was raining pretty hard so we took a cab back which cost us about 6 euros. Breakfast was included in our stay and was a typical Irish breakfast buffet. The food was good and the staff friendly.

Room Tip: We had 4 rooms and each was very nice. The rooms at the back of the hotel had a view of a pretty gr...

My husband and i stay at Mill Park regularly and it is always superb the food, service and staff are of a very high standard. Always a friendly welcome. rooms are very comfortable and clean, and we especially enjoy the swimming pool. We enjoy the chat with the bar staff as they have time for a bit of banter. It is by far our favourite place in donegal.

Room Tip: We stay in the corner suite and its superb very bright and spacious

Stayed at Mill Park Hotel for a couple of days whilst on business nearby. From the size of the place (and looking at other reviews) the main custom must be wedding parties at weekends and coach parties mid-week.

However, Mill Park offers a very welcoming and comfortable stay. The food was slightly hit and miss with breakfast a bit uninspiring but the meatball linguini in the bar fantastic.

One warning - the hot water was very very hot!!!
