This was a lovely day. They bring you in for tea/coffee first and then you are brought around on a tour. Pat has some great information about where the various sayings and cultures evolved from and gives a great talk on the history of the area. Well done, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just back from a lovely visit to the Famine Village. This is an excellent experience and well worth a visit. Started with the cup o tae and scone, thanks Majella. The tour as usual was excellent and very informative. Lots of new additions since I was last there. If you haven't been you should go, If you have been it's probably changed alot. Congratulations to all concerned and I'm sure you will have a great season. There is nothing like this - a step back in time. Thanks to Pat and Co.

This is one place not to miss. I think I could say the best attraction we have been to. We have been a couple of times but are going back for a full day. Very educational and suitable for all ages. The guide was second to none and made the visit. Well done to the family who started this up for us all to enjoy. Their friendly and welcoming approach made it a perfect day.
