We set up a private tour for our family of 4 on May 25th when our cruise ship docked in Cobh. We had a wonderful driver who had a flexible itinerary planned yet let us dictate how we wanted to spend our day. We spent some time at Blarney Castle and the Woolen Mills BEFORE all the tourist buses arrived, then proceeded through Cork and spent time in Kinsale. Our driver was a wealth of information and even sang old Irish songs to us as he was driving. He learned that an ancestor of our family had sailed from the Port of Cobh on his way to America and went on to show us the remnants of the pier he sailed from and the ticket office he would've bought his ticket from. All I can say is Wow! He gave us suggestions to further our ancestry search and even said to contact him if we wanted some help from Ireland! What a fantastic driver and tour company. I would highly recommend their services.

Just wanted to reach out and thank you for setting up our tour.

Tony was fun and interesting to have with us for 2 days! We saw much more scenery with him than we ever would have on our own! The folklore, history and stories all were great.

Please pass along our gratitude to him.

Linda,
We are back home in the sates now. Our experience with Craig and Munsterbus was amazing. It was myself and my son's favorite part of our three week trip.
Craig was a great fit for our family and somehow knew exactly the things and places that were perfect for us. Living in the Pacific Northwest and growing up in Montana and Wyoming we have seen some the the most beautiful mountain scenery in the states. The passes that Craig drove us through were breathtaking. I only wish that the photos we were able to take could do the scenes justice. Our friends and family will really not have a full perspective of how amazingly beautiful it was.
Blarney Castle was also a gem to see and explore. There are no words to even say how we felt about the cliff of Moher, from the water or above. It was the perfect way to travel, seeing things and doing what we wanted on our time frame was a great decision and worth every bit of the investment.
Craig was very patient and had some great insight for us. As I said his choices for the things to show us were above and beyond our expectations of beauty. His ability to get us the extra bits we enjoyed, the boat ride, tight on time, close parking on the cliffs to save valuable time and recommendations for meals. Not to mention he is just an all around great gentleman and very fun to travel with. He is top notch.
Thank you so much for your help in the extra room situation last minute. I appreciate that more than you know. My son being over six foot was done trying to sleep on twin beds. The hotels were very nice and comfortable. Having great breakfasts right in the facilities is so helpful and they were very good breakfasts.
Again Linda thank you so much to yourself, Munsterus and Craig. It was amazing. Something I hope to do again someday and would very highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit sights in Ireland.

My college-aged nephew and I spent the day with our knowledgeable (and hilarious) tour guide Tony, traveling from Limerick to the Burren, the "baby Cliffs," the spellbinding Cliffs of Moher, lunch in Lahinche ("Surf City") with a beach walk, and a quick stop at Bunratty. Tony told us many stories about local festivals, sports like hurling, and other trivia so that we ended up feeling like we knew Ireland a lot better by the end of our day. The private tour was SO SO worth it -- to be able to be on our own time clock, be by ourselves at the mini Cliffs and the Lahinche beach, etc. If you are able to do a private tour, don't hesitate to use this great company (and request Tony if you can!). THANK YOU. (P.S. I selected "friends" in the box below because there is no option to say "aunt and 21-year-old nephew" haha)

We took 2 private tours with Munsterbus - Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Moher in May 2019.
Our driver for both was Craig M. who is a wonderful person and ensured we had fantastic days! We learned so much about Ireland in just those 2 days! Craig is a wealth of information, thoughtful and attentive to things we were interested in. He is an expert , safe driver for the challenging roadways of the area. The scenery is breathtaking- an absolute must for any Ireland visit! The private tours was so worthwhile and truly were the highlight of our trip! We are thankful to have met Craig and will seek him out on our return trip!
