Why travel to the airport in the early hours of the morning when one can overnight in a spacious, clean, comfortable room and awaken bright eyed and bushy tailed, eager to travel to ones holiday destination.

This was a great Hotel and right next to the business park. The decor was really nice, and the room was very comfortable. You are also given a full English breakfast too, and of a high standard. There is also a nice bar where you can order food if you like too. The staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

I stayed here with my two daughters to celebrate my birthday. We stayed here 3rd and 4th November. The room was lovely, clean and fresh. Nice to be so close to the airport. The Buffet breakfast was plentiful and the dining facilities clean. All the staff we dealt with were courteous and kind, and went out of their way to help. Would defiantly stay here again. The hotel is excellent value for money. the only thing that would discourage me from staying here again when i visit cork is the cost of transport to the City centre. So if you could possibly lay on my transportation I'd much appreciate it.

Many thanks for taking the time to express your views on our hotel. We are always delighted to hear such positive comments. Regarding transport our hotel shuttle only goes to and from the airport terminal but there is a regular bus service from there into the city centre.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Cork International Airport Hotel in the near future.

Stayed here for one night before going on holidays. Found the staff to be exceptional. The easy access to the airport was great and the complimentary car parking was a bonus. Also ate in the bar. Very tasty and child friendly.

We spent one evening at this hotel and my teenage kids did not want to leave the next day. The decor, the food in the restaurant, the interesting things in the lobby, the great service - all were terrific.

Have just returned from this hotel this evening and feel compelled to write an honest review. We were a party of 4 adults( myself , husband, my mother and another female relation) and have spent the last number of weeks looking forward to our weekend away , as with any break i plan, this one was carefully choosen with the aid of tripadvisor reviews, but i have to say that this time reviewers i really think you've got it WRONG !! Two nights before our arrival date, i got a phone call from the hotel, asking if all four of us would stay in one of their executive rooms, as they were over booked for the Saturday night, the lady explained that both beds were in the one room, divided by a wall, so regretably i explained that this would not suit our group, i later called her back after discussing it and we offered for us 3 ladies to stay in that room and my husband would stay in a single room if that was of help, the receptionist thanked me but explained she had sorted the issue out now.
After a 3 hour drive we arrived at the hotel at 3p.m saturday afternoon, after a 10 minute wait in reception we were told our rooms were not cleaned yet and would not be ready for another hour, no explanation offered, slightly annoyed we left our bags in a hold room behind reception and got a taxi into the city centre. The cost of the taxi in was €18 , and €16.50 back. When we got back around 7p.m, different receptionist than before , we were now asked if we could be 'upgraded ' to an executive room, as the hotel was over booked, i explained the thursday evenings conversation with her collegue, but she could not understand our hesitation as there was a wall between the beds after all , we adventually got to our rooms, not feeling like we'd been given a great welcome ! We got freshened up and went to the O Bar for dinner as we felt what was on offer in their restaurant was not good value for €30 for 2 courses or €38 if you went for the steak option. Food in the bar was hit and miss, the beef burger was good, but the pototoes and veg with 2 of the other meals had the appearance, texture and taste of left overs from yesterday's carvery !
The design in the bar was very modern, definitely not comfortable, and even tho the clientelle were mainly couple's i would question the top of every table being a sheet of loose glass.
Breakfast was ok , not great as the buffet style cooked option were luke warm, also the lady that greeted us went into detail at the cost of the breakfast items, i explained we were staying on a b&b basis , however on her list we were room only, she would check with reception as she was unsure, we wern't going to argue and went and had breakfast, next morning we were greeted with the same conversation, however on check out im glad to say they did not try to over charge us for breakfast.
Overall we were very disappointed with this hotel, despite desperately trying to like it ! The best feature was without doubt the bedroom, comfortable bed, uncomfortable pillow, clean bathrooms, powerless shower, nice big t.v, poor soundproofing as we heard flights take off very early morning, and could hear the detail of the conversation from the guests staying in the room next door. i found the decor in the lobby , cheap and tacky and just uncomfortable, i likened it to 'McDonalds', lots of plastic and in no way relaxing, it certainly wasn't somewhere that you would want to sit around to 'kill' an hour with a drink or coffee.
To end, i definitly would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you need somewhere to sleep for a few hours before or after a flight, please don't book this hotel if you are planning a relaxing or romantic break as you will not get it here !!

Dear Cath32,

I have read your review and I once again would like to apologize for the issue's that occurred during your stay. You are correct you should not have been asked twice to share a room and this was a communication error on our part but I was glad to see you received the two rooms as you had booked. I have passed on all your comments and feedback to all our heads of departments and this as discussed with you will be reviewed by all the managers and staff.

Also as I advised during our conversation I would love to see you back soon at the Cork International Airport hotel so you can yourself see the high standards that we uphold here at hotel which have helped us reach our Four and a half star rating on Trip advisor.

Best Regards,
