Olive & Kieran run a great B&B here.. they're very friendly and welcoming, provide secure parking just around the corner, and it's only a short walk to the city centre .. very happy with the quality and service - couldn't be better. Keep it up !

Olive & Kieran made us very welcome to their small family run B&B.

The rooms we had were very comfortable and the breakfast was of a good quality.

The B&B is within easy walking distance of the city centre, Train and bus stations, although you will need a bus or taxi from the airport, as it is outside the city.

The Auburn House is a great Hostel to stay at when in Cork. Cork to me was not the best part of my trip, but Olive at the Auburn House and the other guests made my night in Cork very memorable. They gave great reccomendations for food and Pubs in the area, and after a night of drinking I was able to, well, drink some more with the other folks staying at the hostel. A great place to stay, very warm staff, and superb location. Thanks for an awesome place to rest my head!

i stayed at the Auburn b & b for 2 nights in early july. kieran and olive were very nice, tea and biscuits when we arrived followed by a run down of where/what to do in cork, which was nice.
breakfast was great, cereal, toast, soda bread, then a fry up, awesome!! relatively close to the main shopping area and close to some great trad pubs
would definately recommend this b & b!!

Stayed only one night (family of 4 adults). Olive could not have been more gracious or helpful. in planning places to see/eat and plans for the next day. Offered us tea and biscuits on arrival and answered any and all questions that we had .Property is well sited for walking around Cork. Pub at the bottom of the hill great for a quick pint and meat pie (watched the footballl (soccer) finals with the locals.

After one week of hostels around Ireland, this was our first private room. And did we ever liked it! We were welcomed like royalty by the owner, Olive, and shown to our room. I was not the biggest room ever, but it was big enough for 2 people who were not going to waste their day in Cork in a hotel room. And the bathroom.... Again, after one week of hosteling, this bathroom felt like heaven. Good water pressure, hot water available all day (aaaaaaah, joy!) and nice clean towels. Breakfast in the morning? There were many options, the last one being any combination of the above. That says it all about the flexibility of our hosts and their desire to please.

The location we found was very good, far from noisy nightlife. The street side rooms could get noisy if you let the window open, but once closed, you could sleep like the deads!

Fully recommended!

Good location within walking distance of everything. We received a warm welcome from Olive, and were made to feel right at home.
Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. We had a room facing the street and it was pretty noisy, but the windows are double glazed so the noise is not a problem if the window is not open.
We enjoyed our stay, and we enjoyed Olive's breakfasts and her bubbly personality. She is a gem.
