The perfect spot for an afternoon coffee and scone or for somewhere to eat in Cork, the pub's beautiful and intriguing surroundings are a welcome addition to the city's night life - even the toilets will catch your eye - but you need to arrive early if you're to guarantee yourself a seat for the evening. food is served from 1030am - 130am

A great experience! Sitting at the bar counter looking at the old relics from the days it was a chemist shop was very relaxing. The staff were friendly and had a good knowledge of the wines. It is great to get a choice of wines by the glass - the food was excellent - served promptly, tasty and inventive. A lovely evening - will be back!

Found this wine bar by chance. You enter a small wine bar, which leads out into a roofed smoking area, which leads to another bar and music venue. There was a great jazz band on stage, they announced before they finished that another band were due on stage and they were fab. A great place to get a late drink, mix with locals and visitors alike, toilets were clean and food was available to order up until 1:30 am! We did not see this venue listed on any local info but as always Trip Advisor came to the rescue!

Had a quick lunch at the bar counter, very nice girl serving, busy in the seating area at the back so was a bit unsure about sitting at the bar but turned out to be lovely. Amazing old bits & bobs behind the counter to look at!
Lovely soup and sandwich, very filling and fresh.

Went for lunch here about two weeks ago and they had bacon' spinach and chorizo chowder on the menu - thought it sounded unusual so decided to give it a go bit salty for my liking but would def go back there -reasonably priced also

Casual, high quality food and ambience in a converted pharmacy. Good, if somewhat pricey. range of wines. Friendly staff and service and a good place for a group or just for for two.
The closest thing Cork offers to a real tapas bar. Well worth a visit!
