Coffee and cake is yum! the style is gorgeous a real fun place to meet. Bank holiday Sundays and Mondays have taken on a new appeal because one can drop in for a nice down time here. It has appeal to all tastes The decor is delightful and it is a pleasure to feel the warmth of the hospitality There is a board that is eye catching not only for its stylish script but more importantly holds details of the selection of what is on the menu. I am sure it will appeal not only to the home grown coffee connisseuers but with coach travellers parked right beside the Bookshelf those who venture in to eat will be surprised with the welcome and enjoyment which they will find whee they stop and savour the lovely food and beverages on offer Well done!

Lattes are a must try here. They put such an effort into serving good quality coffee and they can do pretty nifty latte art :) The staff are young and friendly and know regulars by name which I love! I call in every morning for a scone and a coffee and the scones are always freshly baked and are definitely my guilty pleasure. At the weekends when I'm not working I love sitting in there having cake. The atmosphere is so relaxing it's always the best spot to meet the girls for a chat and have a few coffees. So glad we have a place like this in cork!

Only by a chance w walked by the coffee shop and I turned around to check out the board for specials. Sausage rolls...yes!
Unfortunately they were all out of them. W had nice dough roll sandwiches and nice coffee.
Refreshing to see a nice simple set up but it was relaxing and cosy.
One minus maybe the coffee menu board was so high up that u would never notice it.
Otherwise great place and nice food.
Thank you.

Am sitting here, enjoying my second latte and felt I had to write a review. Very old school coffee shop, with a key focus on great service great coffee and comfort. The coffee itself HAS to be tried. If you are ever in Cork City make your way here for a coffee.Would recommend to everyone.
