The room was comfortable and seemed to have been refurbished recently. The afternoon tea on arrival was great and it was the best breakfast during 4 weeks of travel around Ireland. I enjoyed the porridge with whiskey but there was a very wide choice available. The local recommendations for dinner were also good.

On our recently concluded seven day trip of Ireland we stayed one night at Garnish House. Joanna welcomed us with Tea and a fabulous fruit cake and scones which no other B@B host had done. she was also very warm and made us feel very at home. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a choice of many many items. My husband and his friend ordered double portions of everything which they supplied more than willingly. I can without hesitation conclude that this was the best B&B which we stayed in during our trip

Stayed here one night on a trip around the southern part of Ireland. Staff was extremely nice -- truly a delight to interact with. Food was excellent as well. They have 3 different houses all within a block of each other. We stayed at one that was not the main house, but just had to cross the street, and it had plenty of parking in the back. Rooms were a bit small, but doable for anight. Close enough to walk to the area with restaurants, but could be a bit of a hike if you are a little bit older. Other restaurants are just down the street.

Stayed for two nights during a week long trip to Ireland. Breakfast was fantastic. Beds were super soft. Hotel at the end of the road from town, but across the street from UCC. Bring a map if you're looking for something specific in town as it can be a far walk and hard to find places.

The Garnish House is located directly across from UCC. There's a beautiful park just around the corner from the B&B and it's a short walk into the city center. The owner and staff were very warm and welcoming. The afternoon coffee and pastries were delicious, served in a charming outdoor patio area. Cork is a great place to visit. Good music scene, great food, friendly people.
