Description: The Wilton Pub is one of Corks finest public houses. It's a modern and spacious pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We serve excellent food during the day with our daily carvery and also offer a delicous a la carte menu in the evenings while our Loft restaurant offers diners the chance to savour fine cuisine.

Group of ten ate here off the Christmas menu at €27.50 per head. Starters were ok if a little bland. The steaks were an absolute disgrace, the lowest and cheapest steaks used stuffed with a duck mousse. There was so much fat and grizzle you just couldn't eat them and these were not just tough but like cardboard. ( Mine was med rare so it was cooked to death)i still dont get the duck mousse stuffing it was like foie gras gone off. Desserts were ok. The normal menu for 3 course is €22 so I don't know what u are getting to make it more expensive.
On the plus the staff are friendly and attentive. This same group has eaten here a few times but this is the last. Take note please fire the butcher..

had carvery lunch today, poor is all i could say, not very warm, potatoe hard and dry, had turkey and ham, ham tasteless as slices taken from pot of water, whats that about, price 12.50, should be better for that price, sticky toffee pudding so dry it was inedible, handed it back, not a great response from person on til, apple tart completely "false taste", worst of all the cream came from a machine, not real cream, disaster, really disappointed, wont be back
a disgrace and place needs a good cleaning

recently went for dinner at this restaurant on a Monday evening. Restaurant was very quiet upstairs but a lovely atmosphere. fire lighting dulled lights. cosy feel to the restaurant. the dinner menu was reasonably priced 2-courses for 16euro if my memory serves me correct. The choice was good and the food was delicious. the waiter that served us was extremely helpful and friendly - no request too tall. he was pleasant to deal with. will definitely be back again.

Today was my first and last time at the Wilton Pub.
I orderd two Roast Beef Dinners which were served on a small plate suited only for children's size portions and were COLD!! I had to ask for the food to be reheated. No apology was given.
The food was piled high on the plate which made it awkward to eat as everything spilt on to the table. Not that I was able to eat the meal. The Beef was like leather and the potatoes rock hard.
The pub itself could do with a good cleaning. Carpet filthy, the toilets were no better and the tables needed a cleaning too.
Overall I was very disappointed.
