I enjoyed this tour, but had a hard time understanding some of what the gentleman was saying. I think I caug maybe 60% of it. I did learn a lot about the history or the city and buildings which was very interesting. Price is fantastic, can't be beat for a couple hours

I was fortunate to have an afternoon to myself in Cork with nothing planned except some shopping. I knew the city about 30 years ago but never really found out too much about it. After popping in to the Tourist Office, I saw that I was just in time for the 2pm walk at an absolute steal of a price of 10 Euro so I decided to do it. In the 2 and a half hours, the fantastic guide, John Collins, really brought it alive - century by century with fascinating stories, a wealth of knowledge and absolutely fabulous sense of humour. This guide knows his stuff! This tour was one of the highlights of my brief trip to Ireland and most certainly when I go back I'll do one of his other tours.
