I agree with the majority of other reviewers. The hotel is quirky and the bedrooms could do with a bit of a refurb. The sash windows would not stay open and the room was quite stifling. Dinner was superb and with the waterfall as a back drop it takes some beating. Unfortunately, we had a room at the front of the hotel and the traffic noise is bad throughout the night. There was also a lot of noise between 2am to 4 am when the clubs were emptying. The beer barrel delivery at 5.45 am was also noisy. We were both very tired the next morning. To be honest, I would not visit Cork again. It needs a lot of money spent on the Town which held little interest for us. I would recommend staying outside of Cork.
