This hotel is in a great location and has good facilities. The room is of a good size with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was good size and clean with plenty of clean towel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great. Yes it is on a main street and therefore gets some traffic noise, but not too much and I had no problems sleeping.

We booked a double room for two nightsinthis hotel, the staff oncheck in were lovely, very friendly.
The room was large enough and clean, though the decor is a wee bit jaded, the bathroom was very clean and the shower excellent!
Breakfast was included in the price, and it was revolting, on the first morning the waiter was morose, and unfriendly, he kept banging and dropping the cutlery, and very unresponsive to a friendly smile and "goodmorning" from us, they ran out of bread for out toast, and our bacon was almost raw.
The next morning the waitress was in total contrast to the chap from the day before, bright charming and full of smiles, the breakfast was still dire.
that aside I would go back there, the location of the hotel is very central, and the waterfall is lovely for realxing over a coffee.

I stayed here for one evening while on business near the ctiy. The double room was spacious but maybe a little bit on the shabby side. It was perfectly clean but I did get the impression that a refurbishment is due. The small bathroom wasn't great but again, it did the job. Overlooking the street it was a little bit noisy, but being on one of the higher floors, it wasn't that big a deal and tended to ease off towards midnight anyway. Being on the upper floor facing the road, I was able to take advantage of the neighbouring Gresham hotel's free wireless access! Isaac's has wireless access, but it wasn't free. On the plus side, the breakfast was great, and dinner in the restaurant the previous evening I couldn't fault either. The waterfall that so many have mentioned in their reviews is a wonderful feature- I had breakast sitting at the window beside it and with the blue sky and sunny day, it was quite something. Having flown down, I didn't have a car to worry about and it was central for the city being pretty much between the airport and my meetings in Blackpool.

The entrance to Isaac's is amazing! You go under an archway and walk towards a big waterfall! Very impressive. The staff were helpful, the room was big, the breakfast was good, and the location was almost ideal. Its central so its only a short walk away from everything. There is a carpark but you need to go into the hotel first to get a remote access key, and the trick is finding somewhere to park to do that! The bathroom in our room could do with updating a bit but other than that, the hotel looked very classy and yet we got a good internet price!

Having read some reviews about the noise at the front of the hotel (it is on one of the main roads in Cork), we asked for a room at the back and got it.

One thing, if you have a fear of lifts (as I do), don't use this one! Its a bit like Fort Knox and is a bit slow, which didn't do anything for my phobia!

We would definitely stay here again and recommend Isaac's to anyone!
