“The Shaking Bridge”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Before it was built, pedestrians were carried on the river with boats. This is one of the several bridges of the city, better known as the "shaking bridge". The reason of the name is clear, and crossing it while others are walking is very funny. And also sure, I promise! It links Fitzgerald Park (one of the areas of the city I prefer) to Sunday's Well, where the Cork City Gaol stands.
A perfect place to rest a while watching the river and the swans.

“Lovely connection across the River Lee”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Daly's Bridge is a lovely pedestrian suspension bridge. Its white painted towers stand out against the green trees and grey concrete along the River Lee. It connects Fiitzgerald's Park and the Mardyke Way with Sunday's Well across the Lee. It provides a crossing in a walk from the university area and park to two excellent pubs, Annie's, which has a fine dining menu at reasonable prices, and the Fraciscan Well. It's part of the University Walk, one of Cork's self-guided walking tours.

“Lovely area”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

A lovely suspension bridge located just 1km. from city centre and adjacent to a beautiful public park. It is overlooked by the period houses of Sundays Well.

“Not that shaky but beautiful”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

It's called the shake bridge but we didn't find it that shaky. But its a beautiful bridge view a nice view and we have some kids who love to look in the water for old biles and fish.
Next to it is a small skaterpark, also nice.

“The shaky bridge”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

The shaky bridge is well known to Corkonian northsiders. To get to Fitzgeralds park from Sundays Well on foot an essential part of the day out is to stand on the shaky bridge and jump up and down to make it vibrate. It is a wonderful suspension bridge with fantastic views down the river towards the city.
