Owner description: One of Cork's most prominent landmarks, you can enjoy the unique experience of ringing the original 18th Century Church bells, view the mechanism of the famous four faced liar clock, climb the tower to experience spectacular views of Cork City and beyond and visit the beautiful interior of St, Anne's church, one of Cork's oldest buildings.

Others have rightly noted the glorious bells and tower. We agree. The church is beautiful in many ways. What set St. Anne's apart for us was its vision and mission statement, proudly noted in the entry and on the website. Confident, direct, welcoming, beautiful, and open. Indeed, a short bit of text that defines the Christian spirit. We visit many old churches, but St. Anne's transformed old stones and glass into warmth and compassion.

Great place to see all of cork from the top and you get to ring the shandon bells as well only a few mins from the centre of town

It's not the greatest tourist attraction I've ever been to, but you really should make time for it. It's only around €4 and it's in the city centre so there's no excuse to skip it really!

It's a fairly steep and enclosed walk to get to the top of the tower, but along the different floors you can take short breaks and have a look at some of the information posted, and the different things on display, and ring the bells of course.

A book is provided that tells you which bells to ring and in which order to play different songs like Happy Birthday or Halleluiah or Amazing Grace etc etc

Once you get to the top, there's a great view of the whole of Cork. Definitely worth it.

Give it a miss. You'll be knackered by the time you climb all the hills & unless bell ringing tickles your fancy there's nothing really to see.

The bell ringing drives everyone mad & the area itself is quite run down. The cork city gaol is a much better attraction & is only 15 minutes away.

A real gem of an attraction in an old part of the city. We climbed to the outside of the steeple and rang out some Dylan tunes with the bells...a great thrill
