“Great tapas with an Irish twist!”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Spent a great Saturday afternoon in Boqueria during the jazz festival, we did book in advance as there were 23 of us, Frank dealt with all our requirements and arrangements including dealing with several emails and our group of Irish, English and Scottish folk had a very memorable meal. Highlights included pigs cheeks, mussels with chorizo and Irish haloumi. A friendly lively setting, great service and a wonderful combination of Irish ingredients cooked Spanish style. I would recommend this without hesitation.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed October 15, 2012 via mobile

My Husband and I ate here recently after hearing from a few friends how wonderful the place was. We were not very impressed at all. Although the Resturant itself is lovely inside, the food is very average and the service is appalling. There was a large party seated this particular night, and the waiters didn't seemed to be bothered about any other table. I asked for a second glass of wine and I thought he had gone to Spain for it! After waiting 20 minutes at the end of our meal for the bill we ended up going up to pay for it at the till. Won't be returning.

“Great food and service!”
Reviewed October 11, 2012 via mobile

Dined here on Wednesday evening and we were very impressed. Great tasting selection of 'tapas' at a very reasonable price and the service was excellent. It was very busy but there was no problem getting a table even though we didn't have a reservation. We went for a selection of the arbutus toasts, the mussels and the pig cheeks which all tasted wonderful. The wine list is a bit limited with about 20 wines on offer but it seems to tick all the boxes. It was our first time here but we will definitely be back!

“Tasty and classy tapas in Cork”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

We loved this classic small tapas bar on Bridge Street. Not like Spain, but just as tasty, and with a very chic atmosphere, casual, yet classy. The staff were terrrific, the wine was great, and the tapas were just outstanding (especially liked the Arbutus goat cheese with fig, and the halloumi salad, but the crab croquets and patatas bravas were authentic with a nice twist). Wish we had this at home!
