“A blur of a meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

Showed up on or first night after flying in to Dublin, driving to Cork, sleeping for a few hours and stumbling downtown! Great meal, great price, nice atmosphere. Seems to be a tourist hotspot, there were pleanly of Americans and British eating a late dinner with us. So, if you want to experience something off the beaten path away from fourists, this will not be your place.

We enjoyed our meals. They were priced right for steaks, and the seafood looked fantastic. One thing I really miss since moving to Arizona is the inability to obtain really good quality and fresh seafood. We did start with some fried Brie Cheese, served with a sweet chile compote and chilled veggies. For dinner, both of us had steak. The chips, french fries, were chrisp and not greasy. The side salad was fantastic.

Very good portion size and the quality of the steak was good (for Europe). Don't expect a Ruth's Chris or any other large steak house (or small) size steak or quality; Europeans just don't eat red meat like their U.S. counterparts. Total cost for dinner, wine and beer: 48 Euros.

“Great Fish n Chips”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2013 via mobile

I visited this lace for lunch and found it to have very good food. Lots of Irish beers on tap with Irish stew and fish n chips, I would go back again.

“Not Bad at All”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

The restaurant is called Rafferty's @ Clancy's and it's pretty good. We went in at about 8pm on the Monday night and got a table for 4 immediately. I had the burger and it was really good, nobody else had any complaints either. The only issue was that there aren't any deserts that are dairy free.

“Great food & atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We went twice in the space of 3 days! The food was very tasty and generous portions!
Drinks are expensive but it's the same in most of Cork.
Monday night there was a folk band who were fantastic and had people up dancing. Overall would definitely go again.

“Restaurant food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

Have eaten here two days in a row. The food is simply fantastic. Great selection on the menu to suit all tastes and budgets. The food is incredibly tasty, good portions and at a reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the bar offers live music seven nights a week. It's a one stop shop for all. I would highly recommend anyone pay Clancy's a visit.
