We stayed here recently on a two night break, the receptionist was very friendly and made us feel welcome, our room was fine and comfortable as was the bed with lovely white bedding. We ate in Christys Bar on our first night and had a very enjoyable meal, the waiter whose name was Dino looked after us really well and nothing was to much trouble, it was good to see someone enjoying his work as much as he did, every thing seemed to run so smoothly and was well organised!!The breakfast was cooked to order which we prefer and was very nice except for the coffee which was not very nice, but really that was our only complaint. We would stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a study abroad group last year (2013). The hotel was comfortable, in a good location, and had character. The hotel staff were friendly as well. Blarney Woolen Mills offers a great view and great shopping opportunities. I was sad to leave. At night, we'd walk down to the pubs and have a beer with the locals.

Stayed here for the second time on business, I must've been lucky with the room the first time around. The Hotel is perfectly located for tourists, but it is very tired and is in need of some money spending on it, the rooms were a little grubby and when we arrived at reception at only 1830hrs there was nobody on the desk and you had to phone someone to come and see you. Granted the lady I think called Sam was very helpful but seemed to be rushed off her feet, as though she was doing everything, in fact when I phoned down for an iron it was her that dropped it to my room too.
Breakfasts here are lovely, and the evening meals in the pub next to it are great, a nice stay but unless the rooms are renovated I doubt I'll stay again.

This hotel is well located and has fabulous shops beside it including Meadows&Byrne and the Wollen Mills. The staff are friendly and very accommodating but the rooms are very out dated. We stayed in a family room and requested a travel cot which was provided. The cot was a little grubby and the room itself was just ok. The window was quite dirty with mold and the net curtains were filthy. We ate in the bar on the first night and the food was awful. After passing on our disappointment to the waiter we were compensated with a bottle of wine, which was very kind. The food the second night was good however. Overall the location is excellent but the hotel room was shabby and uninviting, this is the only thing that would deter us from staying here again.

I had read some reviews before I booked to stay here and was pleasantly surprised. The Blarney Woollen Mills was in a great location and just a few minuted from Blarney castle where you can kiss the Blarney stone. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely great choice on the menu. My only disadvantage was the lift was out of order and we were on the second floor. We had dinner in the Mill pub next door Christy's which was lovely and very reasonably priced.

I stayed here last night, nice staff, clean room, comfy bed. Perfect for what I needed and very reasonable. Gym could do with updating tho! Avoid christys bar but the mill restaurant did a great breakfast.

Good hotel, fantastic food and excellent location.
3 minutes walk to Blarney Castle, excellent food served in Christy's pub next to the hotel. The largest irish shop in the world and great breakfasts!
Worth a visit - yes, the hotel rooms could do with some updating but our room was clean and spacious.
