Well, we stayed here in October 2008 and have just confirmed a second booking for 2010. Having stayed in accomodation at various locations across the globe, none yet have come near the warmth and hospitality provided by the gracious hosts, Doug and Olwen. They could'nt do enough to make us feel at home and to accommodate the needs of our two young children.
We were so impressed by the old world feel of this beautiful country manor with all the modern trappings. The delectable Irish breakfast in the stunning conservatory keeps you going for the day whilst you enjoy the scenic surrounds of the Irish country side. Interestingly, there is also an amazing family history to this house and the nearby Hydro.
After a long day on the road, we returned to the drawing room at Maranatha Country House to be greeted by a warm glowing open fire-exactly what we needed after the days activities--and then retired to our room for a sound sleep. It is our home away from home.
