Description: The Muskerry Arms was established as a small Public House in 1838 and is named after the Muskerry Tram Line, which serviced the village of Blarney up until the 1930's. The premises is owned by the O'Connor Family since 1984 and is personally managed by the O'Connor Family. The Muskerry Arms is a great family run business, offering 11 recently decorated superior bedrooms, live music, coverage of all sporting events on our big screens, great food & drink and always a warm welcome from our friendly staff. The Muskerry offers the ambience of a great Irish Pub with the olde world charme & character in the decor and the friendly reception you will recieve coming through our doors. So if you are just passing through or just back from visiting the Castle, Blarney Woollen Mills, it's all waiting for you here in the Muskerry Arms. After extensive renovations over time we now have an establishment rich in heritage and folklore which continues to be the focal point of Blarney. Every Monday -Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday Night during the Summer we have a Traditional Irish Music & Storytelling Session in our upstairs Tavern Room. Starts at 7pm until 9pm. No Cover Charge. “Will not be Back Place looked Tired and Dirty”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

On the recommendation of our guest house we went down for 7pm. The service was good, food very poor. The music was good however the storytelling was some grey haired man who just couldn't stop talking about himself. The music men were very entertaining and certainly kept our interest but would not recommend this place to anyone coming to Blarney.

The Muskerry Arms restaurant provides great food at a very reasonable cost. Also has live entertainment through the week later in the evening

“Fun Pub”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

They had good food- ribs. Atmosphere was nice along with decent prices. They even had a bingo style game you could pay and join. Very fun. Got to interact with locals who were on holiday themselves.

“One of the best meals we had in Ireland!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

This was the first restaurant we came across after visiting the Blarney Castle and Stone, and man, was I glad we found this! It was one of the best meals we had in Ireland. My husband tried the fish and chips, which was one of the best he had in Ireland (and we tried a LOT of good fish and chips while we were there), and I had The Tavern Hot Bite Platter (Osbornes Local Traditional Butchers Home Made Sausages, Black & White Pudding & Chicken Goujans & Home Cut Chips & Filo Prawns With Dipping Sauces). You will not regret eating here!

“Great place to eat”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

had the best chicken wings outside of north America. Enjoyed a meal and chat with some locals. They talked me into trying a pint of Beamish..not quite as good as Guinness, but close and less expensive. Good time, would go back.
