The restaurant has a river view. with outside tables and even some blankets in case its cold. A romantic place by the river to have a glass of wine and relax.
The meal was great. the toblerone cheesecake is delicious, taste full and really worth a try. The
Stuffed Tortellini with spinach was very nice. Family friendly.

“Great food in the heart of Ennis”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

This was our first visit to the Rowan Tree having had many friends and relatives recommend it and it did not disappoint. The building used to be a private members club and is a fabulous setting for a restaurant. The menu is varied and all locally sourced, which is great for Ennis. The service was prompt and friendly.

“Good”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

The setting is quiet nice over a bridge so it feels like it is just a little bit private, the service was very good and food too, my pizza was a bit soggy tasted like it had been sitting out a while but my girlfriend loved her pasta .
If we were in Ennis again I would probably visit again but pass on the pizza.

“Fantastic food in a stylish place”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Ireland. The food is fresh, very tasty and resonably priced. Especially the pasta tastes as it should and is not drowned in too much sauce and the Toblerone cheesecake is simply to die for. The atmosphere is very relaxed.
