Description: Casa Italia is a family run restaurant privately owned and managed by our Head Chef, Domenico. Domenico is from southern Italy and has a lovely menu to share with you that includes traditional classic pasta dishes and stone baked pizzas as well as a selection of meats and fish dishes all freshly cooked to order. He is also happy to adjust our menu offerings at any time to accommodate our customers' dietry requests or taste options. Casa Italia Ristorante opened at the end of November 2012 having been completely renovated from a former church building in the heart of Clydebank. We have installed a disabled lift access for customers who require wheelchair or pram access and have disabled washroom facilities alongside baby changing facilities. We are located on the corner of Montrose Street and Kilbowie Road with car parking facilities which we share with the Atlantis Bar. Casa Italia has seating arrangements for 110 customers which includes a balcony dining area for 40 to 50 guests. Our balcony dining area offers larger groups a designated location within our restaurant and can also be set up for a buffet. This area is also used for adult only dining, turning Casa into the perfect romantic setting.. Our team worked hard in our 1st year to secure a finalist place in the highly acclaimed Scottish Italian Restaurants Awards 2013 in the category of Best Newcomer - something we are very proud of. We have a fabulous team of caring and attentive staff guided by Domenico and our restaurant manager Peter who bring a great deal of humour and attention to all our customers. We open our doors every day to welcome you with your family and friends to join our family at Casa for a pleasant dining experience at our beautiful family home at Casa Italia. Our main restaurant does not have fixed booth seating therefore we can comfortably set larger groups within our restaurant area as well as intimate tables for 2.

I ate here on wednesday afteroon after passing many times on the bus and always wondered if it was any good also it is quite oddly located as it is surrounded by a busy junction and quite abit away from the shopping centre. I was greeted and seated very quickly. I started off with the Funghi Fritti (deep fried mushrooms) which was amazing...best I have tasted anywhere followed by tagliatelle carbonara ..which wasnt that good and a abit of a bummer going by the starter and desert was fine. But I noticed there was alot more dishes to choose from so would like to go back again decor was nice aswell and staff were pleasant and helpfull. Good on Domenico for whats on offer because you wont get better in the area. Ciao.

“Excellent dining experience at Casa Italia”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

We went for a meal at Casa Italia tonight, after hearing mixed reports from the local community we thought we would try it for ourselves. Our experience was exceptional. The food was full of flavour and the service was friendly and informative, hearing from Domenico (the owner) about bringing his family recipes from Italy was a nice touch. The pizza was the best I have tasted outside of Italy, the seafood pasta was full of flavour and my coffee was perfect. For a Tuesday night the atmosphere was great and the place was warm and welcoming. Domenico uses local suppliers and local people as staff. He is providing a great community service as well as a quality experience. Well done Domenico, you have provided Clydebank with an excellent eating establishment. Grazia! We will be back.

“great weekday/sunday dinner”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

went for dinner and had a bottle of wine, and 2 courses for 3 persons which came to £42 including steak and mussels

comparing to my own restaurant in the west end this was competitively priced and quality was matching that of my own which is superb.

food was cooked to perfection, service was friendly and the décor was nice. relaxing sunny afternoon with a perfect meal to finish off a hard working day.

will definitely be back. sunday deals are particularly fantastic.

“Casual and friendly”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

Went for lunch, great value for money. The service was very friendly, it is a very relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Although the Cajun chicken was not Cajun, simply chicken. Hate the brown napkins though - remind me of primary school!

“Good food but pricey - shame about the chips”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

My daughter and I went out for a Friday night meal at the Casa Italia. The food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Portions were large but at £70 for two courses each, a botlle of wine & two cocktails, it felt a bit on the pricey side.
A side portion of chips at £3 consisted of poor quality frozen chips - apparently you only get the hand cut chips with a steak - surely at £3 the customer deserves more than bland frozen chips.
It was a very pleasent evening and the restaurant is well worth a visit.

Hi Colin, thank you for your review and good to read you enjoyed your visit.
We have a new supplier of certain foods, chips being one of them and a few customers have commented on the quality. Chef has changed this immediatly. We have never served hand cut chips although chef is now looking into this and we agree itvwould be lovely addition to offer. Thanks for your feedback on this.

We offer a great value early diner menu that runs monday -friday from 4 till 7, 2 courses for 2 people and a bottle of house wine for £25, this is a popular choice for our customers, next time you visit, book this menu im sure you will enjoy it also, regards, Domenico
