“Great experience”

Excellent experience for sightseers, small information/ muesum about history. Not for people with a fear of heights though.

“Worth every penny!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

I am so scared of heights and went up the lift with my eyes shut, walked out the lift with my eyes shut and stood in a corner for about 10 minutes shaking until I eventually opened my eyes. I had promised my son I would take him up - its really incredible and so much to read up there with all the amazing information thats been put together. Make sure you wrap up well as its soooo cold up there!

“HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT”

Pick a clear, dry day and you will be blown away by the views and the whole experience. Wear flat shoes as the platform at the top is a grid structure

“A wee bit of Glasgows' shipbuilding & trading heritage”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013

The Titan crane is basically a derelict crane with a lift installed for a viewing platform on the higher levels. It makes for an interesting trip for schoolkids to learn about Glasgow's industrial past or for those from the area, as it is set in a completely redeveloped area of Clydebank. The adjacent buildings are Clydebank College, which is a very refreshing and astounding view compared to the decrepit 60 year old+ warehouses. Good views towards inverclyde, across the water and of course, Clydebank, which was flattened during the 1939-45 War. This in itself is unusual, as it was the worst hit area of Glasgow. "The Clydebank Blitz". Good for a visit if you want to know more about the area and learn a little about Glasgow, but it's one of those white elephant attractions for me. I'd take the kids for an education about Glasgow's past and remind them of the terror of war. Visit will be complete in less than one hour from arrival.

Wrap up warm and wear flat shoes or trainers. Grids at the top not suitable for heels. Can watch planes landing at Glasgow Airport.
