Owner description: A magical place of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the Black Cuillin mountains. The Fairy Pools is becoming increasingly popular so when you visit, please drive carefully on the single track roads, follow the parking enforcement notices and take all your litter away with you. There is a WC at the nearby Glenbrittle Campsite along with some great coffee c/o the Cuillin Coffee Co. Thank you and we hope you enjoy your visit!

Best experience. Wild swimming at best. Water is cold and refreshing and the experience seems magical because of blue turquoise water.
Loved every minute there.

Great walk for the family cracking views and pools great for a dip on a hot day! Picnic on the rocks very good on a dry day. Walk not all that taxing.

We visited in october so i imagine visiting in the summer would be more spectacular, but we really enjoyed our walk , the kids were all in the pools (couldnt stop them). The surroundings are spectacular, the larger waterfalls were beautiful. Again like all attractions on Skye there are no signs and lots of single narrow roads. Worth a visit though.

like waterfalls...these may be small but they are just right for an easy hike out into the fields.
It is popular so go early if you want to find parking!

It doesn't have to be sunny, but a clear day enhances the feel of the location. Fairly easily accessible from the roadside car park, but you'll struggle with crutches and a wheelchair. There are a few small streams to cross, nothing bad, but be aware, if it rains hard in the Cuillin, these streams very quickly fill up as the rain just runs off the rock. Situated in Glen Brittle you'll find the Fairie Pools one of the enchanting places on Skye, with small pools, arches and waterfalls, giving the impression that the fairies made it all. See photos for more. Word of advice. You can easily wander a Mile or two from the car, if the weather comes down and you've wandered off the main path, it is possible to lose your bearings. From March to September, if you continue down the road to GlenBrittle beach, there's a campsite shop, where you can get an Ice Cream (and Midge repellant if needed)
