What a find, got to be the beast beach on Mull, especially if you get the best summer weather.Good spot for seal, whale, eagle, sea eagle, hooded crow & seagull watching. The colour of the sea is like the mediteranean.

Great old style beach and dunes with plenty of rock pools to investigate. Sea shallow so paddling and swimming definitely an option!

Went here on recommendation of fellow Trip advisers. A lovely bay with a small beach. Pleasant just for messing about in the water and catching up on the sun. Probably has gorgeous sunsets but unfortunately it was clouding over when we arrived. Beautiful blue water. Apparently they do get basking sharks coming in on occasions to feed on the algae, according to our waitress in the hotel.

No matter what the time of year or weather this beach is always beautiful and never crowded. I think the most people I've ever seen here would be about 20! Excellent car parking and lovely machair covered in wild flowers in the summer.

We have visited Calgary Bay many times and have fallen in love with the place. It is truly magical. The beach is beautifully clean and the water crystal clear. It is like a Caribbean beach but in Scotland. Fantastic location, fabulous drive there and back. Well worth the effort.
