I visited Calgary each in July and I must say that the time there was lovely. The weather was great with plenty of sunshine, I even burnt my nose slightly, and the sea was completely see-through. There is no pollution in the water because the beach is a part of a nature reserve, which is really great. There was also a new sailing club there which offered sailing lessons, as well as renting out lazors, canoes and trips on bigger boats. If you're planning to go swimming in the sea it might be a good idea to think about bringing a wetsuit, just to give yourself some extra warmth. There really isn't anything bad to say about Calgary bay, it's a great place to go with the family on a day out or if you want to see the beautiful countryside. There is also a tea room nearby where you can buy lunch if you are hungry. Great place. Go there!
