I had an amazing afternoon at the hide and felt very privileged to see not only the fledgeling in the nest but also dad arrive with food and then mum fly in and sit on a perch above the nest.
The hide had a brilliant view and very good quality scopes were provided and set up so we could look closer at the birds.
I was moved to tears watching the Forest Ranger Cheryl assist a disabled man in a wheelchair and elderly lady at the hide. She made sure that they were conveyed to the hide and and gave them the same experience as everyone else while John talked to us in the hide about the nest and the Eagles. 5 stars for disabilty access.
Both were very knowledgable and passionate about their work.
Worth every penny at £6.
I highly recommend this if you're visiting Mull.

Having been part of the Eagle Watch team when the hide was located at Loch Frisa we thought that it could not improved upon.We were wrong! With an even better view of the nest from within a natural woodland "hide" the view was stunning. The 9 week old chick was very active with much flapping and soon to fledge. Cheryl our Ranger guide took us through the trials and tribulations since the eggs were laid by its parent and has a well informed but easy going manner. Nothing was too much trouble and she gave practical help whenever needed.Time spent at the hide (about 2 hrs ) went quickly and was followed by a short session in the information hut. A tv monitor provided live pictures from the nest and various exhibits and leaflets completed the experience. Not to be missed.

This is an approx 2 hour ranger guided viewing of one of the Eagle hides on Mull. We were lucky enough to visit on the most glorious of summer's days. I had my elderly parents with me and my Dad is physically disabled so we weren't sure how close we would be able to get, but the Ranger (Cheryl) was absolutely fantastic. We were allowed to drive up almost as far as the hide at which point the folks were taken right up to the hide in the ranger's car and looked after very carefully while viewing the hide. The hide is kitted out with several powerful scopes so you get some amazing close up views of the nest. Cheryl then tookus back to the "office" where we were able to watch the Eagles on CCTV and get as much information as we wanted. The nest is very visible and the "chick" (at 9 weeks old) almost as big has his/her Mum - were watched entranced as the chick ate food and practiced flapping her wings - Cheryl reckons she will fledge in the next week or two. Mum was also on the nest and while not as active as the chick, she was lovely to see. This was a terrific way to spend a couple of hours and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone including disabled visitors - just mention when you book that you need disabled access and the team will ensure you get that extra bit of attention.

This is one of the highlights of a visit to Mull. The eagle's nest is clearly visible and the activity of the parent eagles and the chick are fascinating. The rangers, Cheryl and John, make this a fun, informative and worthwhile visit.

Had a great trip to see the sea eagles but it was very wet and eagles were sheltering so did not appear.
Very knowledgable guide and would recommend a visit. We will be going back next year to see them
