This was the best weeks food we have ever eaten. The view of Uig beach was the best beach view we have ever had - and we are 75 and have stayed in Zanzibar and Sierra Leone.

“Best on Lewis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is probably the most expensive on Lewis but it's still good value and well worth a journey (40 miles each way in our case). The location is a delight with excellent views from the dining area so pick good weather if you can. All the food was well cooked and presented. Excellent vegetables to go with the fish and meat. Portions are also generous - no nouvelle cuisine here!

“Auberge Carnish”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

Unique and unforgettable. Very well presented, imaginative food and in sensible portions. A delightful chef in Richard Leparoux, totally French and a very funny man. The Auberge is in a setting with a true wow factor. We loved it.

“Great location,friendly staff, food?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is in a great setting and the chef patron is full of bonamie.
The food can be inconsistent. This time, the fish was well overlooked.
