Iona is a phenomenal place to visit and Torrasa is a great place to stay to explore this ancient Isle. Sara is warm, friendly and provides an excellent service. The bedrooms are comfy and the addition of a residents lounge provides a brilliant space to kick back and relax after a day of wandering the many pathways of Iona. Thank you Sara. I am already looking forward to my next visit in August. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at Torrasa for 5 nights. Our host Sara was lovely and friendly, and made us feel most welcome throughout the stay.

Our bedrooms, the dining room and the large roomy lounge were all very clean and nicely decorated with excellent facilities and bright contemporary furnishings.

Breakfasts were a real treat and set us up for the day, and Sara's tick list system allowed us to have exactly what we wanted.

All in all, we would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Torrasa.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Torassa. The weather was unseasonally cold for May but the welcome from Sara was very sunny and warm! All the guest rooms are clean, comfortable and furnished with bright modern fittings. There is lovely lounge to relax in whilst enjoying a sea view and watching the local sheep and lambs wandering up the road. Sara serves up a very tasty cooked breakfast between 8 & 8.30 am, which includes fresh eggs from her own hens. There is just enough time to get to the Abbey for morning service at 9.00 am if you wish to do so. Tea, coffee and a kettle is on hand in the dining room if you need a brew at any time. Sara is a very obliging hostess - it seems that nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely return if I came back to Iona.

Stayed for 3 nights on visit to Iona. Excellent facilities, with guest accommodation in a separate wing. Guests have own lounge and tea/coffee facility as well as wonderful breakfast. Sara collected us from ferry and dropped us off at the end. It is about 20 to 25 minutes easy walk from the Abbey.

We stayed here for 6 nights, recieved a lovely warm welcome Sara is a wonderful Host, picking us up and dropping of for ferry. We have been to Iona before and stayed at Argyll Hotel but this was by far better. Lovely quiet location on ten minutes from village, the room was comfortable and warm and had wonderful sea view.
One of the lovely things about Torrasa is the ability to come and go and to enjoy the lounge area with lovely sea view with time to read or watch tv, excellent faciltity
The weather was beautiful given plenty of time to venture around Iona to it's beautiful beaches and with plenty lovely photographs to take.
We went to St Columba Hotel for evening meal this was lovely not to pricey and provide full double rainbow to view across to Mull, but would advice booking.
We had superb time on Iona and would recommend Torrasa and hope to return again maybe sometime soon.

This was my second visit to Iona and Torrasa was recommended by a friend. I stayed for two nights and was delighted with the accommodation and the breakfast. I booked my room at very short notice so there was no sea view but I opened my curtains in the morning to see Sara going out through the tall grass to collect eggs for breakfast. I loved the location and would definitely come back.
