“what a selection”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

bought some jumpers and shirts ,elsewhere they would have cost a third more the staff were very helpful and pleasant they should put some of these outlets down the south coast of England on the many coach trips you will always find a Scottish Wool Center situated at each stop the coach stops. my advice would be don't fill your suitcase for your holiday leave some room for the wool centre

“Very poor customer service”
Reviewed February 13, 2014 via mobile

We stopped off at the cafe at The Scottish Wool Centre for a bite to eat after a pleasant walk round Doon Hill and Fairy Knowe.
Two scones, two butters, two jams, a bottle sprite and half a cappuccino came to £8.75. Pretty expensive ...considering we later found a brilliant offer on the tables (and toilet door!!) for an afternoon tea for two for £10, but no one bothered telling us.
Felt the staff couldn't really be bothered serving and preferred being through the back in the kitchen chatting than upselling offers.
This place could be so much better, considering it's a key tourism draw in the town.

“Quality goods to suit all pockets”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

This centre caters for everyone, with products to sort all ages at competitive prices, if you want to spend more, it also caters for you. An enormous range of products from the everyday Shortbreads to the Dress tartans. You don't need a supermarket, this centre has everything you require and at prices to suit all pockets.

“Nice Afternoon Tea”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

4 of us went on a drive to Aberfoyle and stopped in at the Wool Centre.
It has a wide variety of Scottish Tourist gifts (tartan scarfs, DVDs, CDs, Shortbread etc), there are sheepdog displays outside(although the sheep dogs round up geese), there are some local crafts and you can also buy live chickens!,
There is also a cafe with a variety of specials. We picked the afternoon tea (2 sandwiches, 2 scones, 2 cup cakes, butter cream and jam, Tea and coffee all for less than £10.00)
The staff were very friendly and the food tasty
I'm sure we will visit again
