“One of the best in Scotland”
Reviewed January 16, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

I have stayed here with my family a number of times now and I am honest when I saw its one of the best cottages in Scotland. Love the place its rather small for 4 people but every time we go there it fells like home. Its a quick drive from Aberfoyle if you need something and it has great views of the hills and, of course Ben Lomond; The woods here by are great for walks and as we have 2 dogs its great to let them off the led. A really nice extra is that there is a small group of Highland cows at the back of the garden and are more then happy to come up and say hello.
Inside there is everything you need for a short break. We stayed there over Christmas and they decorated the cottage for us and put up a tree for us.

“Quiet cozy cottage just outside Aberfoyle”
Reviewed November 27, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This cottage was just what we were after. Peaceful and just a 10 minute walk from Aberfoyle. It's more spacious than the photos make it look. Friendly service from the owners too.

“Lovely cottage in a great location”
Reviewed September 9, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

My husband and I stayed at this cottage with our two children and felt comfortable and happy there. The location is ideal for exploring the national park area, while there are also pleasant walks without the need to drive. The cottage was lovely and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and the living space felt cosy, adequate and comfortable. It's in a nice quiet location, easily accessible, with a practical garden space with a BBQ and furniture. There was a nice feel about the area and nearby village. If I was to grumble about anything, it would be the mattresses are a little hard, but I appreciate that's personal preference. We were very pleased with our choice of cottage and would book again without hesitation.

“This cottage has it all”
Reviewed July 26, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Aberfoyle is located in one of the most scenic areas in Scotland. Ideal for biking, walking and just relaxing.
The cottage is well equipped having everything you need. Outside there is a large secluded garden with large shed for equipment storage. eg bikes.
Being positioned a short distance from town the cottage is in a quiet location. We liked this, and only a 15 min walk to town.
The cottage and surrounding grounds are well kept by the owners, Pauline and Steven.
We really enjoyed our time there and would certainly recommend to anyone visiting the Trossachs area.

Well equipped and comfortable; a quiet haven but yet so close to all the needed shops and amenities and a great location for exploring the Trossachs. We would happily return.

“Everything you could wish for and more.”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Our second visit also and hopefully not our last. Owners Pauline and Steven strive for perfection and Lomond View Cottage is up there with the very best cottages we have stayed in around the UK over many years. A fantastic, peaceful location, spotlessly clean on our arrival, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. As an example, never mind all the kitchen equipment, the games, the books and videos, how many holiday cottages provide you with unlimited wi-fi and a Sky decoder (don't forget to bring your Sky card)? The final seal of approval, our Labrador loves it as much as we do and was made just as welcome. Who could ask for more?

“OUTSTANDING”
Reviewed May 8, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Second time here. Not much more to add after last year. The best well equipped cottage we have stayed in ( and we have stayed in quite a lot in the last 16 years). The kitchen is equipped with excellent quality pans and cookery utensils. This year we saw a woodpecker and a red squirrel in the garden but I am not quick enough to photograph the deer just down the track. Once again a big THANK YOU to Pauline and. Steven
