“Scone Heaven”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

Discovered the 'Wee Blether' on a photographic trip to the Trossachs. Having photographed the boathouses at Loch Ard in the morning we were so in need of sustenance!! Decided to drive along to Kinlochard before going back to eat at Aberfoyle.
So glad we did this. An amazing discovery. Wish I had found it years ago.
We had 'brunch'. Tea coffee, bacon rolls....and scoes...superb. These may well be the best scones I have tasted on my trips round the UK.
How good was it? We made a point of coming back for late lunch / early tea. We arrived back after the kitchen had closed. A problem? Absolutely not. What a choice of food...and tasty.
Shona and Ricky are just so welcoming and friendly. They work so hard but make it look so easy. And have time to talk to everyone.
We will be back...and hope many more people will be, too. A gem of good food and brilliant customer service which is often lacking in the tourist industry.
try it...you will love the food and the owners. It's like visiting friends for good food.

“Absolutely Fantastic!!!”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

What a wee gem of a place this is. We visit every time we are in this part of Scotland and are never disappointed. The home cooked food and home baked cakes are simply to die for.
Lovely welcome and friendly owner/staff and a really quirky lovely place. Every town should have a Wee Blether Tea Room!!!
The location is great and the 2 dogs in the garden kept us amused with their playing antics! Adorable.
If you are anywhere near Kinlochard you must make a visit!!

“You Must Try It!”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

We were staying in the area and walked down the road to the Wee Blether for breakfast. What a wee gem of a place! Cozy and friendly, the menu is displayed on a chalkboard at the front counter. I had the Wee breakfast, while my friend had the Highland Fling. Both dishes were served hot and timely. The eggs were cooked just right (and I am fussy about my eggs!) and coffee was served with cream, the only place during our entire trip to Scotland that did. It was much appreciated. I only wished that The Wee Blether opened earlier so we could have enjoyed it everyday, but, alas, we had to start touring before the 10:00 a.m opening. The location is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. The owners even honked and waved at us the next day in town. You must go to The Wee Blether if you are anywhere near the town of Aberfoyle or staying in The Trossachs.

“Lovely surprise on the road to Aberfoyle”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

We happened upon this quirky little tearoom as we were cycling to Aberfoyle. We immediately wished we hadn't eaten at the last village, because the food here looked so good. But the best thing was the surroundings. Inside and out, the attention to quirky detail was a source of fascination. Lovely place. But, Wee Blether owner, couldn't you give your chickens a bit more space? We felt sorry for them, so cramped in that tiny hen house.
