Owner description: Take in the stunning surroundings of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park as you fly 46 metres above the ground on two of Britain's longest zip wires. Located in the Trossachs National Park, it's a mecca for Go Ape pilgrims, thrill seekers, adventure lovers and those that just want to get out and have some fun in Loch Lomond. At the turn of the year our award winning adventure at Queen Elizabeth Forest had a tree-lift. Not only have we put in all new obstacles and crossings, we’ve rethought the entire layout of the course, meaning you get to see parts of the forest you wouldn’t have seen last time. With the new design comes a unique aspect for those adventurous monkeys out there – a dual course. That means you now have a choice of which route you take – moderate or extreme. Along these routes you’ll encounter brand new back-to-back black crossings - don’t worry these are optional. Sound challenging enough for you?

“Best Fun EVER!!!”
Reviewed May 17, 2012

Went for my partners birthday. Group of 7 of us. Would highly recommend this for anyone! Shaking trees are a bit scary though! Cargo nets killed my arms the next day as well!! only drawback is the group in front of us were so slow so even though you go off at different times we eventually caught up with them and spent some time standing around waiting for them to move to the next tree. When we left the queues of ppl waiting to climb the first tree was horrendous!! Get there early to avoid getting caught waiting for those in front to move. My advice is always go extreme! Even though I didn't!!

“Fun day out being apes :)”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

Went with my O/H for something different to do for his birthday and we loved it.
You are given a lesson/safety briefing at the start and shown how to use the equipment. You get some time to practice and then you are off down the first zip line!!
We found some bits quite challenging but managed it all.
Was really good fun, would definitely go again some time!

“You'll regret not going!”
Reviewed May 3, 2012

This was amazing! I got married in Scotland last summer and the whole group came to the Highlands and went to GoApe! It was amazing! They do a nice safety training which made some of my friends feel better as they were about to zipline across the Highlands on the longest Zipline in the UK! The place is beatuiful so Mom & Dad who's knees weren't up for it were able to hang out and enjoy the scenery and the ducks (theres a nearby pond),

There is climbing and twisting, and turning, and flying through the air of awesome amazingness! I have done other courses and this one is one I would say everyone NEEDS to try at least once if not twice! Bring water, you may get a bit thirsty :)

“Visitor centre in Aberfoyle”
Reviewed May 1, 2012

Excellent, plenty of information, good selection of items in the centre. Outside there were birds of prey and sheep dog trials, the area is very beautiful, well worth a visit. There are other shops and eating places in Aberfoyle
