The Hayloft is the perfect base for exploring the Trossachs. It is quite small but has everything you need.We had a great week(weather a huge bonus) Walks, places to eat & a small amount of shops are all a short walk away. Stirling and Callander not far by car either. The hosts Dorothy and Neil (and of course Finn the black Lab)were very kind, friendly & informative. We would recommend to others.
Had a fantastic break at The Hayloft. Accommodation has everything you would need and small extra touches of wine and shortbread a lovely surprise.
Would recommend to everyone. Location great .
We had a great break here over February half term. Place was very cosy with everything that we needed. Our nine-year old loved the bunk beds and the swing in the garden. The garden is really big and very private. Lots of great trails with stunning scenery in Loch Ard forest right on the doorstep, which were perfect for walking and running (or biking had we brought ours). Dorothy and Neil were very welcoming and helpful hosts. Overall a great base for exploring the area. Will definitely book again!
Lovely and peacefull place for few days off. Me and dogs really enjoyed wee break in Hayloft. Place is really tidy . Good size of garden and big bath, you cann't ask for any more.
I stayed at the Hayloft for a few days with two friends as we explored Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The location was great: the surrounding area is picturesque, there are many short walks nearby, and the drive to the longer walks was not difficult. There's a supermarket in Aberfoyle for supplies and it's an easy walk up the road to get dinner there. Dorothy was an excellent host, she was easy to get into contact with and between her messages and the information she left in the accommodation we had everything we needed for our stay. Her recommendations for restaurants and hikes really helped us get the most out of our trip.
