First time visit for a pre-theatre meal at £12.95 for two courses on Friday night. We were given a warm welcome on entering, shown to our table quickly and service was attentive and very friendly. Ordered a litre of table wine for around £15 and it was better quality than expected for the price. I had the chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce and it was delicious. The meal was hot and the portions good. On hearing it was my birthday the staff unexpectedly arranged for a small fairy cake, complete with candle, to be delivered to my table whilst singing happy birthday. Nice touch. Good value. I will return.

For anybody who appreciates good food and drink this family run restaurant is a must! The ambiance and knowledge of the attentive staff only adds to the range and diversity of food and drink that is on offer.

Had a truly wonderful experience with four friends on a Saturday night. Table was ours for the night so never felt rushed and time between courses was perfection. The table started off with a selection of seafood (king prawns, scallops, langoustines, scampi and mussels) Greek sausage and cheese. The freshness of the food was clear to the tables much travelled palate and the recommended white enhanced yet retained the lite starters. The main course was simply amazing - chateaubriand with an accompanying selection of vegetables was exquisite. The meat was cooked to perfection and the veg was delicious.

A particular highlight of the night was when our crepes were flambéed in a Cointreau and zest brûlée at the table by Andri the restaurant owner. Again this just typifies the family atmosphere that this restaurant oozes. Along with a scoop of ice cream this dessert rounded off a perfect meal.

This restaurant is a jewell in the array of restaurants in Hamilton and is a must for Hamiltonians and food lovers from further afield. If this restaurant was in the centre of London you'd be looking at an extremely long waiting list!

Booked a table here on Saturday night for myself and four friends. What can i say.....Absolutely loved it! The staff are very friendly, decor is very relaxing and the food is outstanding. We opted for a selection of sea food to start with Chateaubriand all round for our main. All cooked to perfection. The highlight of the night was the crepes which were ordered as Desert. These were actually cooked in front of us which was a lovely touch to round off a great evening. Already booked my table for Mothers Day next Sunday.

Visited this establishment recently and what a disappointment. The soup was tepid and the steaks at 20 quid were tiny, asked for a medium cooked steak and it came back very well done, tough and lots of gristle. The bread rolls were of the cold part baked variety.
Beware of the question, "shall I bring a selection of vegatables?" This will bump up your bill like you wouldn't believe. My partner had the Pork Aphelia dish which was a congealed mess.
On checking the website of South Lanarkshire Council Environmental Health it was only rated 2 saying that there were some issues that needed to be resolved.
Never be back and would not recommend.
