“delicious, fresh, recommend!”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

This was our first time visiting the Bombay cottage, which is surprising as we only stay a short journey along the motorway.
Lots of people always recommend so we had high expectations, which I must say were fulfilled!

Service was flawless, welcoming, friendly.
Food was delicious, freshly cooked, clean and fresh meat dishes, all tasty and big portions.

the garlic naan bread was one of the best i have ever tasted, lots of flavour but not at all greasy!

Only fault i would say is that our bill was a little on the high side compared to other indian restaurants in the area, however the food and service we received was terrific so cannot complain! In future I would probably visit during the day as I seen they have advertised a lunch menu deal.

would recommend to all, lovely meal and lovely service.

“Greasy Chicken Tika”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Was here for lunch with my husband. We had two of the £7.95 lunches. Starters were fine but mains left a lot to be desired. I didn't know it was possible to make a chicken tikka tandoori dish greasy. The chef managed that and it sat on a bed of onions swimming in grease. We did not stay for dessert. The service was fair especially as they were very busy but no one came over to ask if our meal was ok. I agree with others who complain about lack of an itemised bill. The food is cheap enough at lunch but I guess they compensate on the drinks prices. We don't know what the drinks cost each as we only got a total due. Will not be back.

“Excellent pre theatre menu ...great value.”
Reviewed April 17, 2014 via mobile

Visited the Bombay Cottage with my daughter and some friends and we were certainly not disappointed. The £12.95 pre theatre menu has lots of choice and good portion sizes. The chicken tikka that I had was absolutely delicious . All in all £66 for 4 and that included 8 soft drinks is really fantastic value!
