Very pleasant and helpful staff but very noisy at the weekend. Came in tonight just before 11pm to sleep only to find a disco on in the conservatory. Have been waiting for it to finish so that I can sleep as I have an early start in the morning. It's now quarter to one and although the music has just stopped still noisy as people still around talking very loudly. A quieter location if you need it would be Monkton Lodge which is only a couple of minutes away by car.

Well, this is the fourth year in a row that myself and my racing pals have stopped at the Manor Park. In my not so humble opinion, this hotel is a great place to stay. I cannot fault it at all, from the owner downwards, everyone is so helpful, and have been over the years.

This year, we did not stop in the main body of the hotel but in the annex, just over the road. It was like having a large house to ourselves and our own personal assistant and the rooms were spotlessly clean and freshly decorated. The rooms were also extremely spacious and my room was adorned with four beds and two bathrooms so as there were only two of us sharing, we had a bathroom each; very handy, I must say.

After a day and night on the tiles, the full Scottish breakfast was very welcome indeed, certainly value for money. One could also help ones-self to cereal, fruit etc. Refills of coffee/tea/juice and even more toast.

It would be unfair to single any one member of staff out as they all work very hard, but if pushed, my new pal for life Omar deserves a special mention. In addition, in all the places that I have stayed I have never seen an owner work so hard. Yes, it is his business and he wants to see it thrive even further and add extra facilities, but some owners are content to take a back seat and let the staff do all the running around; not Wor Stevie!

I cannot pay the Manor Park a bigger compliment but suffice to say, we've already booked up for next year.

Room Tip: If you stop in the "House across the road", get room 47/48.

Stayed here again before an early flight. Clean, comfortable room, lovely staff, and quick taxi transfer to airport. We'll use it again.
One small point was that the fellow at reception told us that the airport didn't open till 5 a.m., but airport is, in fact, 24 hour, and breakfast is served from about 5.

Having stayed in the Manor Park several years ago before a morning flight from Prestwick, we were indeed disappointed that on this occasion it did not meet our expectations, especially having read some good reviews on TA since its new management. We made a booking through booking.com and paid £59 for room including breakfast (we discovered on contacting the hotel though that continental breakfast could not be provided though as our flight left at 6am). The hotel offers free parking during your holiday but it was unusual and not very reassuring that reception staff did not wish to be given our car registration number (usually asked for in other hotels at check-in) nor our keys while we were away. The young staff were very friendly but appeared to be overworked resulting in a long wait for our booked meal and our pre-dinner drinks ordered not having been served at all when we eventually got our meal (the waiter told us that he was also covering the bar and the reception on that evening). On a positive note our food was well-cooked, tasty and beautifully presented. Unfortunately there were several issues with our room (made us wonder whether we had the same room allocation - see review 20 Feb 2013 by Kimborob!) with the same door handle in need of repair (agreed there is no phone in the room). There was a broken pedal bin in the bathroom and a light which did not work but the worst issue was that we were unable to have a shower before our early morning departure as the shower was not operational either (we did report this to reception in the morning). It transpired that the hotel no longer does the transfers by minibus as was our previous experience and instead a few taxis arrived for the various guests and in the chaos which ensued, we discovered that another party had taken our taxi and the the helpful lads on reception had to call the company twice before another taxi came for us. Would recommend that guests deal directly with Streamline taxis on the return journey as trying to arrange transfer with the hotel just caused us added confusion. Streamline taxi driver did say that the hotel transfer minibus was no longer being used though hotel website advertises 24 hour airport chauffeur shuttle. He also told us that the Premier Inn offers a similar deal of stay and park, which may now be a preferred option when leaving early from Prestwick. But perhaps we were just unlucky....
