Tired building, obstinate staff, broken equipment, & iffy showers , if you enjoy going to the gym would give this place a miss.

Nice staff and good facilities, however the pool area is very cold. The water temperature is okay (small pool) but unfortunately you are blasted by cold air from the air con system whilst in the pool. We took our 4 year old son there and I'm afraid won't be back because of the temperature. Freezing ears and noses. I appreciate that the centre is trying to keep costs down but I'm afraid this is at the detriment of customers swimming experiences.

OK I've been to a lot of Leisure Centres but this one is good try it for yourself when on a visit or holiday, It's nice clean and staff go out of there way to please-I like and that's the way it should be Yes or No anyway the restaurant is a great place to relax and after if you're there on the last Saturday of any month take in the Antiques fair in the Sports hall you'll pick up a bargain or two maybe three or four.Great value and snack time as well as you can get your BRUNCH here cooked to perfection in the hall potato scones(potato bread in Ireland), bacon, sausages You name it Tea coffee the lot-- super value too

The pools are a good size. Staff seem a little distracted at times so dont take your eyes of your loved ones!
It's an old building that could do with an upgrade to bring it up to speed for the next 40 - 50 years but I dont imagine that SAC have the cash to do that.

We are both 60 and called in for a swim , it was very quiet with the odd noisy child here and there.
The changing rooms are mixed and very much fit for purpose. The tiled floor was very slippy in the changing room though, my wife pointed out that the sides of the baths were dirty, on closer inspection had to agree with her.
