Just 2 mins walk from our Hotel was the Seaside. Refreshing, delightful day(would be better in the Summer months)
It has playparks for childrens and a couple of to go Cafes, ideal for coffee and ice creams.
Walked along the grass then on to the promenade to the bridge then back.
Would come a drive down from Glasgow just to enjoy the peaceful and scenery walk:)

The low green is made up of a very large grassy area, mostly flat but has some dunes. the park is surrounded by several cafes and snack kiosks. There is also a fully enclosed play area adjoining which has a wide variety of play things including swings, chutes, climbing frames as well as lots of other interactive aparatus.

As I am Ayr born and bred, the Low Green holds many memories from my childhood, and is great to picnic or just relax on, especially in the summer.

Right on the seafront of Ayr the Low Green offers large are for picnicking walking flying kites & entertaining the family when the Ayshire weather allows. The Low Green offers a fair number of attractions hosting various events throughout the year. The seafront & other local hotels & attractions on the door step are a bonus to visiting Ayr beach & the Low Green
