“September weekend”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Been to the museum and cottage. The monument is very close to the museum. Its just a few steps to the top and as it's round, you get a panoramic view. The gardens are very well maintained. Very peaceful. Its just a short walk down to the Brig O' Doon.

Really lovely which was helped by mainly blue sky's.

How lucky are you people who live in Ayr to have this on your doorstep. We visited for the afternoon and it was just glorious

“Beautiful garden”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

Alongside the Robert Burns' museum is the formal garden and monument. This area was well worth a visit as it is beautifully laid out. The monument is undergoing restoration at the time of our visit, but will even better next time we go.

“Still lovely”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

Quiet with places to sit and read or take in the view. I know these gardens well and during the summer they are much more colourful than they were in April but still lovely.
