While visiting Ayr last weekend (25th Oct 2013) we called in for a swift drink to the Black Bull Public House and Restaurant. What a wonderful experience, the warm welcome from the lovely bar man (possible the manage/owner) was a hit straight away.My tipple is brandy and coke and i never have it served in a brandy bowl (glass) , well i did here, i'm sure it tates better when it is presented better ha ha. We were then offered some home made soup on the house, which was beautiful. The customers all probably locals were all chatting to us. This has got to be one of the friendliest bars/restaurants i have visited for many a long day. We went in for one, stayed for four and had a wonderful afternoon, so thank you. So if you are going to Ayr, walk accross the bridge, next door to TK Max, and call in, you wont regret it.
