Booked as a late deal, took superior double. Once we booked the hotel e-mailed us to say there was a wedding on the Sunday night and we might be restricted to the areas we could use and that the music would be on till 12pm. We were in room 19 at the top of the hotel, so we heard nothing. No lift but stairs were not to bad, but not for disabled. Weather wise it was the worst weekend we could have picked, but the staff more than made up for that, nothing was to much trouble for them, they were excellent and so was the food. Buffet breakfast, with our eggs cooked to order, what more does anybody need.the hotel is close to town, 5 min walk to own centre. But taxis are very cheap if you need one back from town. Loved my weekend. Thanks to all the staff at the savoy.
