If you love star gazing then this is the place for you. You can learn about the planets, stars and consolations, on a clear evening you may be able to see Jupiter from the garden telescope.

It is situated well in paisley town centre with many pubs and restaurants near by. The telescope viewing is great and on a clear sky night you can see a lot of solar elements such as Jupiter. Only let down is the waiting time in the que.

Fascinating to see the old observatory and view Jupiter and its moons through the massive telescope, Not sure it was worth the hour long queue.

It's a gem of a place and yet the day I visited there weren't many other people around. It's a wonderful quite understated old building. A staff member there gave me a tour and imparted so much information. It was an enlightening day out and thoroughly enjoyable.
