Went for a sit down buffet instead of usual take away and was extremely pleasantly surprised.
Very unusual buffet style as you get your spicy onions and popadoms brought to your table followed by a 'taster' curry followed by a large selection of starters. The 'taster' was fabby Garlic chicken done Goan style and really true to the taste of the original. This may be a way of ensuring gluttons don't empty the buffet but they certainly do not skimp on portions ,everything was warm and fresh.
Main buffet was short on lamb dishes which partner prefers but I liked all of the chicken dishes and was full enough to take small tastes of each. Had ice cream and passion fruit cheesecake and coffee.
Two glasses of not bad med dry white excellent value.
On the whole a very nice night, excellent value for money , very attentive manager and staff.
cautionary note: ask to be seated away from door as a wee bit draughty.
