What a fantastic building..have been before..but always discover new things..it has so much history..the stained glass windows are well worth seeing..how they built the high roof is amazing..especially as it has been there over 1,000 years

A fantastic location for a graduation ceremony. It lent majesty and gravitas to the occasion and I hope it earned income from the university. The roof and windows in particular were stunning

I love this church. High roof for acoustics but also loads of history. It’s a surprise who is either buried within the church or whose memory is kept fresh by their stories.
Plenty to take in and think about during and after a visit.

I have been to Paisley Abbey before for a quick look but when I visited last year on Doors Open Day I had time to take in the features of this wonderful building properly and there was a knowledgeable guide who was able to answer my questions. There is a beautiful stained glass window by Burne Jones and if you happen to visit on a day when someone is playing the pipe organ you will feel the vibrations under your feet. If you get to climb the stairs up the tower an amazing view of Paisley and beyond awaits at the top.

This abbey dates about 1,000 years and is a fascinating place to visit. It is a great place for photographers as there are nice stained glass windows.

There are plenty of places to visit on site as well as great photo opportunities.
