Popped into Abbey for a look around. Very impressive. Nice man filled us in on the history. It was free but you can pop a donation in their box. Had a coffee and scone in coffee shop inside. Very very cheap. A little cold inside but it is an old building so to be expected. Worth a visit for an hour or so.

Plain and simple. Shortbread is good.
Be careful with the sell-by dates on drink cartons. Some were more than a month out of date on the day we were there. Staff (all volunteers) seemed surprised when it was pointed out.

This is always a great place to visit and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the great history of one of the most important ancient Scottish buildings. Situated right in the town centre, it provides very easy access.

Children friendly and open free to the public.
