“A taste of Paisley that may change your perception”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

Paisley may be suffering during the economic down-turn - but looking past this to a grander time - the Abbey is certainly worth a wander around - with its beginnings in the middle ages - it boasts the last resting place of the daughter of Robert the Bruce and King Robert the 3rd - and some special architecture into the bargain

“Very Special place”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

The Abbey is so accessible compared with other places, there is a super car park just down the road and this is a no pressure, highly recommended visit. The Abbey oozes with Stewart History and the daughter of Robert the Bruce Marjorie is bured here. Super information boards and of course the famous `Wallace ` window not to be missed. And dont forget to look outside around the building as well, some terrfic statues. I believe this is all run by volunteers and they are so helpful and knowledgeable and very proud to be part of this Historical gem.

“Open doors day”
Reviewed September 11, 2012

I spent 2 hours in the Abbey on Open Doors Saturday. It was well staffed with knowledable kindly people. I learned a lot and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive history of both Paisley and the Abbey
