I stayed at Holiday Inn Glasgow airport and was suprised as to how quite it was but the heating is noisy in the room and did disturb my sleep on occassion. Although I did have trouble with my room on arrival as I could not get the heating to work properly, also when pulling the curtains they started to fall down. My room was changed immediatly and without fuss. I was given a complimentry drink from the bar for my trouble. Bar prices are expensive as are all the snacks. There is a 24hr Tesco Express opposite the hotel within the airport terminal so you can go and get a bottle of water etc etc. The hotel is dirctly opposite the airport terminal I guess fifty steps away. Ideal for one night stays but I would not want to stay in this hotel if I were going to stay for any longer. I stayed three nights on this visit as I was on business close by and it suited. The hotel is clean the staff very friendly and the food ok, typical Holiday Inn food, nothing fancy but ok. The bar area is small for the size of hotel and felt cramped when busy. No real ale on offer at the bar, however there is Weatherspoons in the airport terminal opposite if you wanted a real ale.More
