We decided to try this restaurant as we thought that we should be supporting our local businesses more by eating closer to home rather than travelling into town. We ate here on a Tuesday evening and were one of only two tables being served which I would expect should lead to good service and good food as they certainly were not being rushed. We opted for a sharing starter which was ok but certainly not spectacular although the portion in its defence was certainly generous in size. Our two mains were both noodle dishes and were not good at all. they tasted as though they had been cooked too soon and then kept warm. The noodles were gloopy and horribly overcooked which made the meal taste more like a poor take away rather than restaurant quality food. We may have been unlucky but there are too many other restaurants to try to give them a second chance. My advice would be to steer clear and choose to eat elsewhere, We were so looking forward to the meal being of good quality so we could eat there again but it just does not hit the spot. The only reason I would not mark the restaurant as terrible is that the waitress was good and the wine was fine.
