Remote, quiet, beautiful countryside. Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Prepare for all weather conditions.

“Remote Splendour”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

We visited in beautiful, warm, sunny weather and were able to enjoy and photograph the spectacular views of rushing streams, tranquil lochs and towering, snow-capped mountains. We also saw red deer, hares, buzzards and a couple of toads! Oddly, we were barely troubled by midges.

You could from hypothermia as the hotel would not even offer a hot drink in a blizzard. NOT what one expects in Highland Perthshire

Rannoch Moor is one of my favourite places to visit you come upon it following the road down from Glen Coe the scenery is awesome and you can feel the atmosphere of battles long ago.
